How to Fish Controls and Reel Timing

The basic rhythm

Charge a cast, release toward the target water, then pulse the reel. Holding the reel forever is the fastest way to push tension into the red zone.

When tension rises too far, release briefly and let the meter settle before pulling again. A slower, repeatable rhythm is more reliable than a single long hold.
